The book “Foresight Scenario: GEF Biogas Brazil Project in the agroindustry value chain” presents the results achieved by the project through the development of innovative business models.
These models were developed based on field activities carried out together with local partners and agroindustry companies.
For this work, the project applied the Foresight methodology for the projection of technological scenarios.
The publication is structured into three main sections:
Chapter 1: Presentation of the methodological approaches implemented in the context of the agroindustry in Southern Brazil, identifying knowledge needs and promoting a competitive landscape for biogas and biomethane.
Chapter 2: Analysis of the results achieved through field activities focused on the development of business models, in collaboration with companies and partner institutions involved in this project workstream, with the aim of assessing the impact on the private market.
Chapter 3: Reflections, recommendations and systematization of the good practices identified, with a focus on disseminating and scaling up knowledge.
